Hooray, another review! Can't wait for Minimalistic Mario to be reviewed!

Hm, as much as I thought differently at first, after reading your review I actually have to agree with your rating. Your reviews are written so well and it just is so inspiring, I don't know how to explain it but just keep goinggg!

Honestly a big complaint I have for pokemon sprite comics that try these awkward zoom-ins is that everyone and their mother tends to use Ruby and Sapphire sprites because they are so familiar. The RS sprites are less designed and more pixilated than later games but hey are the most familiar hence why so many comics use them.

The Diamond and Pearl sprites have a higher resolution (a.k.a appear more clearly when zoomed in). Using sprites from a different Pokemon game can also help give the comic a unique identity when compared to the more commonly used RS style.

Gen V sprites (Black and White/B2 and W2) have a bit more dimension to them because they were an experiment to make people more familiar with the more 3D style before the transition to full 3D. These are probably the best to use if you want to make different camera angles due to the extra dimensions to the characters.

@Light and Shadow: They're the most details by far, but the only soundside Ihave with them is their proportions are soooo... outta whack and back in BW, they acuually never fully animated like... a ton of the NPCs,

EVERY Gen 4 sprite, regardless if they even moved or just stood in place, had a full frame spread sheet of up, down, left, right and their respective walk cycles

While say... Football player in BW didn't get anything beyond front, side and back @.@ lol

Plus after 56 episodes of Pixel Art in Review... I've maybe only seen 2 legitimately GOOD Gen 5 customs, something about the way their design makes it very awkward to "animate" poses for

I'm a little scared now, because I'm working on a comic, and in order for me to be satisfied with it I want you to review it. I'm scared it might get a bad score, because I'm about to turn 13, and I don't have any experience with storylines. You wouldn't have to worry about quality too much though, because I'm very skilled. ( Thanks to Luigi_96). I haven't posted it on smack Jeeves yet because school just started and I want to wait until December on my break because I don't like having an anniversary party after school just starts.

@TheSilverLeague: True that. I'm just burnt out on seeing Gen 3 stuff.
@Warpstar: The only thing I can think of to help you there is watch a ton of TV.

@Light and Shadow: How does TV help?

Reply Light and Shadow, September 20th, 2015, 8:41 am

@Warpstar: You said you have no experience with storylines. Watching TV, movies or reading books/other comics should help you in that department.
