If you want to subject yourself to the horrendousness that is this comic, you can read it here: http://dcallspritingsomewhat.smackjeeves.com/

I should mention Spar's introduction was back in the start of the comic. She just removed her works from the comic. So her only comic there was the last one she has done there.

EDIT: Also gsman made comics here... except all but one were porn-izd and so yeah...

DcallX1 should be honoured.

Remeber Legendary Adventure? I never thought that Ulti could review a comic with a lower score than -6/10. I knew that this comic was bad, but I didn't think that it would make Legendary Adventure look fabulous!!! O_O

Reply SUGauthor, July 2nd, 2014, 12:46 pm

Harsh...Anyways, Metal Sonic: The Path of Anguish is coming to an end Mid-August. Would you mind giving it another look when that happens? I figure if it goes on the list now it'll probably be finished when you get to it. If I recall correctly the biggest problem you had with it was that it didn't live up to it's name, I can assure you that you won't think that this time.

Reply Blizzard, July 2nd, 2014, 1:20 pm

Ohhh a negative score! Is this the first one? Or if not can someone tell me another one that got negative scores

Reply Advertisement, July 2nd, 2014, 1:46 pm

I feel flattered cause of the KirbyTroid mention, lol. Funnily enough I took quite a bit of inspiration from a couple of the other comics you mentioned there.

Getting a negative score that high (or low) is quite an accomplishment. I get the feeling most of the pages in this comic were made bad intentionally, mainly cause the authors wanted to parody Dcall's incompetence. But that doesn't really make it less terrible soo...

Reply D00D64, July 2nd, 2014, 1:52 pm

Oh, I wasn't expecting my comic to get mentioned for anything! I appreciate such a compliment! I guess I should actually... y'now... continue it. I totally want to! And I will! Aaaaaaas soon as I'm done with Borderlands 2's True Vault Hunter mode. And the DLC for it. And some of the other Steam games I have.

Totally gon' do it.

Reply witswithme, July 2nd, 2014, 1:53 pm

WELL... @Ultimate Yoshi: I figured as much. Also...

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK, IT'S MY TURN!!!!

*gulp*

Umm, Ultimate Yoshi, could you please call it "Sonic the Cat" when you review it? Why? Well, it's what it SHOULD have been called. Thanks!

*expects a low score*

Reply Luigi_96, July 2nd, 2014, 1:59 pm

You mentioned on Skype that this was bad.

I didn't know it was THIS bad. Hooooly cow.

As for my opinion on what the epitome of a great comic on SmackJeeves is (that wasn't already mentioned up there)...
http://www.smackjeeves.com/comicprofile.php?id=52456

EDIT: Another good one (which is co-authored, mind you), is this one here: http://www.smackjeeves.com/comicprofile.php?id=137095

Also, @D00D64: Yes, please do continue that comic. PLEASE.

Reply DarkNut255, July 2nd, 2014, 2:01 pm

The worst part about a co-authored comic is a lack of communication, and the fact that almost every author seems to just jump in where another author's previous comic happened, it feels like there is very little communication towards anyone. It's like anyone does what they want and can ruin any sort of work that the other authors are doing. That is also why comic styles can clash as much as they do (although many are similar in style here, it doesn't help when the style is very poor).

This is why I no longer do any actual co-author comics. (Well, also because I am terrible at updating, but still...)

Reply Jarkes, July 2nd, 2014, 2:02 pm

Well, Dcall did say himself in the comments for yesterday's review that this one was pretty bad...

BAM! lol

Reply Dcall X1, July 2nd, 2014, 2:54 pm

^^ is this worse then Random comic season 1 (p.s I read some of the listed already, but if you saw my comics (don't review) marnix adventure, and diloga stories it didn't work...) but believe me about learning, I tried and do a comic remake and didn't work...so its back to my creativeness with my new probly better comic (The7greatfighters) and if ya wanna help p.m me... I'm thinking that since you've reviewed 50 comics... maybe yours are 10/10 or are you like me :.

Reply contradiction123, July 2nd, 2014, 3:02 pm

this is a good co-authored comic!!!!!!!!! http://www.smackjeeves.com/comicprofile.php?id=129134

Reply Gigi19972010, July 2nd, 2014, 3:14 pm

OK, Tater wants this old comic reviewed just for fun. http://www.smackjeeves.com/comicprofile.php?id=107222
His old account was banned, so he can't ask with that. And yes, I know I'm not him, but he asked me to ask for him. He will confirm that he wants the review with his current account soon.
(Also I thought you thought 20TK was a good comic *dies*)

Reply witswithme, July 2nd, 2014, 4:27 pm

Well... @Ultimate Yoshi: If I'm not mistaken, To Defeat Them All is a comic done by two...brothers, was it?

Just sayin'.

Reply Sapar, July 2nd, 2014, 6:33 pm

@witswithme: That doesn't mean you can't take inspiration from them.

Reply witswithme, July 2nd, 2014, 8:28 pm

True... @Sapar: That is true...

Reply witswithme, July 2nd, 2014, 8:31 pm

And THAT... @DarkNut255: Is why, before you even start on a co-author comic, the bunch of you get together and have a private talk about the script and such.

...Of course, it's easy when your comic partners live very close to you. Or if you can communicate with them on a daily basis.

Reply ace8993, July 3rd, 2014, 3:25 am

Please review my comic http://www.smackjeeves.com/comicprofile.php?id=145445

Reply Spar Elric, July 3rd, 2014, 6:38 pm

Thanks for the compliment. ^^;

@hitkid96fan: Oh yeah. I did have more stuff there prior to all of the porn posting, trolling and flaming that happened.

Reply nyancat6650, July 3rd, 2014, 7:22 pm

Reply Blizzard, July 3rd, 2014, 8:47 pm

@nyancat6650: LOL!!!

Reply Kurona, July 4th, 2014, 5:43 am

I'm 99% sure most of the authors there are being bad ironically.

Reply Neon-J, July 4th, 2014, 10:32 am

Would "To Defeat Them All" even count as a co-authored comic, though? IIRC, Djoing and The_Mad_One live in the same house.

.. Not saying the comic isn't amazing, however - it's one of my very favourites :U

Reply Kurona, July 5th, 2014, 11:12 am

@Neon-J:
It's still two authors co-operating on the same project/comic. While being brothers under the same roof is of course an extreme boon to their communication and ability to co-operate, in principle it is a co-author comic.

Reply TimeSceo, July 6th, 2014, 10:11 am

Sir. Model One was just passing through. It was originally gonna be a giant comic-hopping gag, but I got lazy. Imsrrythenexttimeyousawmeididhorribly

Reply GokentoPower, December 15th, 2014, 8:37 am

after i did my first comic there, i just GAVE up.

Reply Super Froakie 64 DS, January 10th, 2015, 8:43 pm

I was the most useless co-author there. Why? I made zero comics there.
